Description:

Paying homage to such shadowy heroes of the past as Ethiopian singer Alemayehu Eshette, South African singer and actress Patience Africa and Spanish composer Pedro Louis Blas, a member of the '70s fusion band Dolores, Lefto will also be joined by D.C. native Dreamcast Mo, Pasadena's Kulan Shaheed, Monterey's Regal 86, Antwerp's Abraham Blue, and Milan's Elisa Bee, among other young promising soul and electronic artists, with an eye toward the near future. The film also features music by Makaya McRaven, one of the heroes of the current jazz revolution, and Lefto himself.
