Description:
The pride of Germany's trumpet legend, Friedrich Friedrich is the winner of the 1986 Munich International Music Competition. Friedrich won the first prize at the Munich International Music Competition in 1986, and has since served as principal trumpet of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra (1983-1999), principal trumpet of the Lucerne Festival Orchestra, and artistic director of the Lucerne Festival Orchestra Brass Ensemble. Friedrich joined the Lucerne Festival Orchestra in 2003 at the invitation of Abbado, and has performed with the orchestra since then. Friedrich, who joined the Lucerne Festival Orchestra at the invitation of Abbado in 2003 and has been involved in numerous masterpieces, has recorded a "French Program" for ARS Produktion. This repertoire may seem a little surprising, but Friedrich is a master of his craft.The brilliant sound, excellent technique, and musicality backed by experience are on full display!
