This model kit of the destroyer Tachibana comes with photo-etched parts! The Tachibana-type destroyers enhanced the rapid-building capability of Japan's shipyards; the hull structure was made into a straight line to shorten the time needed for construction. A dozen of this class of ship were completed in the period to the end of the war.
